how it works for us
By agreement, we organize auctions at Copart and are their direct participants. Our colleague directly in the USA, in Florida " Florida Filip" personally auctions cars. We also participate in auctions on the Manheim portal from the Czech Republic.
COPART - as you all know from Filip's videos, Copart is basically a junkyard. However, despite this fact, you can buy and auction here interesting, little crashed or any less damaged cars, which after major or minor repairs can serve for years to come completely unscathed. We can bid all over the United States, but blindly, with no guarantee of the actual condition of the car. The only verified way is by declaring a personal inspection by our partner in the USA during his personal visit to the scrapyard, when he can physically inspect the car to detect any major (and in the future unprofitable) damage or to check the level of flooding on flooded cars. Thus, there is indeed a large and diverse portfolio here.
Physical inspection of your selected car before the auction - $310 USD
A fee for the physical attendance of a professional who must travel to the location in person to arrange the inspection date.
Auction of your chosen car - $2,000 USD deposit
Deposit is required to eliminate speculators. If we win the auction, we are required to pay for the car within three days of the auction. Failure to make payment will result in a fine of up to the aforementioned $2,000 USD. If we win the auction, these funds will be applied as a supplement to the total price of the auctioned car. If we lose the auction, we will not auction the car - the deposit will be refunded in full.

MANHEIM - on request, we also participate in remote auctions on the Manheim portal. Here we mostly focus on vehicles sold by dealers or banking houses or other institutions. We auction online with the participation of our expert auctioneer and dealer licensed in the USA. You can either attend the auction together with us, but the condition is to drive to our Liberec offices (remember the time shift, the auction may take place in the evening or at night), or you can watch remotely from the comfort of your home. We'll set a ceiling price and go for it. We'll arrange for delivery and complete clearance of the car.
